regarding the gop missouri senate race candidate.

it's stomach turning, sad & insane to think that after hearing this

man speak, people will still vote for him & give him political power.

i was afirmed after hearing obama's statements on rape and women's

healthcare issues. loud & proud: obama 2012.

"The views expressed were offensive," said Obama.

 "Rape is rape.

 And the idea that we should be parsing and qualifying and slicing

 what types of rape we are talking about doesn't make sense

 to the American people and certainly doesn't make sense to me. 

So what I think these comments do underscore is why we shouldn't

 have a bunch of politicians, a majority of whom are men, 

making health care decisions on behalf of women."

i believe pelosi, in a short & simple tweet gets it:

rep. todd akin statement is another manifestation of the total 

disregard and disrespect of women by republican leaders.

the summer b4 my freshman year of college i

got my nose pierced. i loved it.

i had it for about a year b4 i took it out.

i've been thinking about getting it re-pierced

and wearing a small, thin hoop instead of the stud

i wore before. i think it's super cute & funky.

just a reminder: sweet lady is still looking for her forever home.
