tess latain lozano

it is with great joy i present baby tess!
tess took her sweet time, baking
away in tara's tummy for two extra weeks
& made her debut on july 19th at 4:05am.
yum! tess weighed in at a healthy 9.1oz
& 21.5 inches long.
i think she looks like jeff w/ tara's beautiful bow lips.
my love & pride & awe for tara is too much to handle.
she is already the most loving & affectionate mother.
tara has always had such a defined warmth about her.
i remember feeling it the minute i met her at
my freshman orientation at wcu in 2003.
i'm beyond thrilled to be a part of this
excellent adventure with the lozano's!
in love. xo

rejoice.

synergy.

slim & i just got back from floydfest,
our favorite little music festival.
it was a fantastic long weekend filled with
fabulous live music, amazing people watching,
beautiful mountain views, delicious food &
great camping weather.
on our last night we watched a hunger games
themed fashion show showcasing all of the vendors
at the festival and i fell in love with synergy
we left the fashion show and were headed to the workshop
porch stage to see the hackensaw boys play &
walked right by the synergy tent...
(a coincidence sent from the heaven above i believe)
i was seriously in heaven.
gorgeous, soft organic cotton & bamboo
materials with hand-sewn designs,
all created by women in nepal who were
paid/traded fairly for their amazing work.
i excused slim to the next show as i played
in the synergy tent for a while.
i found this beauty & was good to go!
*also, mentioning the fashion show earned me 10%off.
with my perfect dress in hand, i ran off to see
the super fun & talented hackensaw boys.

yoga+crossfit.

currently, i am loving both crossfit & yoga.
(with a splash of mountain biking & hiking here-and-there)
i find strength gaining, adventure, challenge & fun in crossfit.
in yoga i find lengthening, mindfulness, peace & difficulty.
i found this great guide in using yoga to benefit
your crossfit workouts, which in return
will definitely help your yoga practice.
