moma's lace necklace.

i've been really into creating fabric flowers and ventured out

and experimented with lace....

i liked the idea, but the lace was too tall and the flowers came out too big...

i used old buttons in the middle, but you can hardly see them.

so.... i gave it to moma girl & she loved it.

doesn't she look fabulous?

just sew it.

i graduated from my sewing class!

i loved every class & went from "intro to varsity"!

our last project was creating a pillow with a zipper and piping.

putting in a zipper is super easy.

my bada$$ machine, andy lou has a special zipper presser foot.

(presser foot is sewing-lady-language for fabric clamper)

spin for kids

we rocked spin for kids this past sunday!

camp horizon raised over 19 thousand which will cover summer camp 2012.

*slim alone raised $600 which scored him a spin for kids jersey!

the ride was perfect- the sun was shining down on us as we rode

 through adorable downtown madison and throughout the country
roads of rutledge & a sweet water beer awaited us at the finish line!

our camp brother for dominating the (100 mile) century ride!
