i have the best friends.

last december they threw me a

roaring 20's themed birthday party

to celebrate my 30th birthday.

so long 20's, you've been fabulous.

it was such an amazing week.

we had just found out we were pregnant

and had a fabulous party to welcome

the holiday season!

it will be hard to beat last december!

gave me an awesome & theme 

appropriate gift!

this cookies & cream cake from

highland bakery was killer!

slim & i celebrated our 3 year anniversary

2 weeks ago & except for the part where slim

got really sick, it was really a wonderful celebration.

slim made this amazing mason jar holder.

*i was all like omg! i love this,

you need to mass produce these....

momma needs more new bling.

**and by bling i mean stuff, material stuff.

***which i don't need, but really want.

i gave slim this super cute vintage fabric patagonia

fleece along with a custom "roam if you want to" print

showing our roots & college travels that eventually

brought us back to georgia & to each other...

and with the 3 year anniversary being the leather

year, slim gave me this amazing bracelet.

it's a lenny & eva creation.

slim was already feeling pretty bad that

afternoon but was a sport & took me to west egg.

we had purchased a scoutmob dinner deal & it was 

SO much food... wine, apps, dinner, desserts, boozy milkshakes.

i had the chicken & waffles which is to-die-for

and then, after we ordered a piece of righteous pie,

we got our salted caramel boozy milkshakes..

seriously so delicious.

i was full as a tick & finished the whole thing!

*the next two days, slim was home with a 

terrible flu-like illness....he's all better now!  

4th of july.

we spent the 4th of july with the hasbroucks & buckerts.

lil' oliver is getting so big.

he's pulling up and exploring nonstop.

he's looking more like boot & slim everyday!

the buckert's do sparklers.

owen loved the sparklers.

we also played with water balloons, bubbles

and owen gave his aunt sarah a stern warning about smoking.

hope everyone had a great independence day!

we celebrated jeff's 30th birthday.

and gave the future bride & groom some art.

then we went to dinner at baraonda's on peachtree.

i got a little crafty in honor of all the mom's in my life.

slim & i took mom to the high for the print sale.

i misunderstood the whole print sale thing...

i thought by "print sale" that there would be some art for sale that

was affordable to common-folk. boy was i wrong. 

then we did a little shopping, coffee-ing & pear pound caking

and mom bought me a strawberry dress! xo

go bravos.

mom won tickets to a braves vs. phillies game.

they were GREAT seats.

i had to pay attention the whole time because there were balls flying real close.
