we celebrated our friends wedding this weekend

in new bern north carolina. go bears!

it was a fabulous getaway w/ the gorgeous bride eleanor,

 mimosas, funky french toast, sparklers, old friends & monograms.

i got to hangout with my old buddy emily and we got to talking

blogs & dogs & gluten it got a bit competitive on who would have 

the best pics of the weekend- emily's got a sweet blog, but here's

hoping slim & i captured better pics....

it was worth it..

slim & i went on a road trip on saturday.

we road up to charlotte to pick up a kayak for slim.

poor slim's been sick, but he really wanted this boat.

here's slim and his new buddy, a jackson just4 fun.

we hung out in noda, a hipster-ific artsy part of the queen city.

this public art display was really honest & i loved it.

i did my part in supporting local artist & bough a gorgeous ring from ruby's.

the best part was meeting up with my sweet college

roommate, buddy & sista sam jam!

*her red hair is fabulous!

i on the other hand was looking rough! it was a looooooong drive..
