study says that making art reduces stress,

 even if you kinda suck at it.

researchers found that 45 minutes of creative activity

significantly lessens stress in the body.

 

i see this happen every tuesday morning

at the open studio art group i have the

honor of leading at the jewish tower.

watching elders create & laugh & get messy

is by far my favorite part of my work week.

beautiful art in the marietta square's

 monthly art walk.

i am really proud of paul and his ability

to create, market & sell his funky work.

we had our annual art show this past weekend.

after a year of creating, the artists (ages 56-92) were ready to

show their community their amazing efforts.

it was very successful and we even had a few sales!

all of our artists were very proud of their masterpieces.

thanks to tara & jeff for coming out & showing their support!

creating paper planes and flying real planes- he's 91!

my friend & art group co-leader, the great maxine hull

was in a group art show at astolfi art.

she had two sculptures in the show.

they were titled can you see me 1 &

can you see me 2.

they were magnificent.

after the show we went to la fonda for dinner 

and then west egg for dessert.

slim had a oatmeal cream pie &

i had a red velvet cupcake. both w/ cream cheese icing.

nom nom nom nom.

she is a fantastic artist who just sent cori a

few fabulous surprises, including this bike sticker that

cori so generously gave to me!

the future bride & groom went up to the mountains for a quite 

weekend together and jeff totally surprised tara 

with this beautiful piece of art and a proposal. 

we couldn't be happier for our fabulous friends!
